Accessibility
BillAnswers aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. If any page is hard to use with your device or assistive technology, tell us and we will fix it or send you the information another way.
What we do
- Plain HTML pages with real headings, lists and tables, so screen readers can move through them.
- A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page, and every page works with a keyboard alone.
- Every form field in the calculator has a written label, and the calculator shows its formula in text.
- Each page declares its language (English or Spanish), and every page links to its translation.
- Text is real text, not pictures of text, and it reflows when you zoom.
- No pop-ups, no auto-playing media and no cookie banner.
Known limits
Some pages link to official documents (for example Electricity Facts Labels or agency PDFs) that we do not control. If one of those is not accessible to you, ask us and we will read out or summarize the part you need.
