Cookie policy
BillAnswers sets no cookies of its own and loads no advertising, analytics or social media trackers, so there is no cookie banner to click. Our web host, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell people from bots.
Cookies we set
None. BillAnswers has no accounts, no sign-in, no shopping cart, no advertising and no analytics trackers. The true-cost calculator runs in your browser and stores nothing.
Cookies our web host may set
The site is served by Cloudflare. To protect the site from attacks and automated abuse, Cloudflare may set these strictly necessary cookies. They do not track you across other websites.
| Cookie | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
| __cf_bm | Helps Cloudflare tell people from bots | Ends after 30 minutes without activity |
| cf_clearance | Remembers that your browser passed a security check, so you are not asked again | Set only after a security check; Cloudflare sets how long it lasts (see its cookie page) |
Partner sites
Some links may lead to a provider's or partner's site, and a link we are paid for is marked "(paid link)". Once you are on that other site, its own cookie policy applies; that site may set cookies to record that you came from BillAnswers. We do not receive your browsing data from those cookies.
How to control cookies
Every browser lets you see and delete cookies and block them for a site. Blocking Cloudflare's security cookies may mean you see a security check more often.
Changes
If we ever add a cookie or tracker, we will list it on this page, with its purpose, before it goes live, and the date below will change. Questions: contact@billanswers.com.
