How we research, rank and update

Every BillAnswers price, rule and deadline comes from an official source that we name on the page, with the date we read or downloaded it. We list providers alphabetically, never in an order anyone paid for, and we correct mistakes as soon as we confirm them.

How we list providers

Provider lists on city pages are copied from the Power to Choose export and sorted alphabetically. Price tables show statistics only, without naming a plan, so no provider is ranked above another. If we are ever paid by a company, payment will never change the order in which we list it, and every paid link is marked "(paid link)". See how we get paid.

What we will not do

How we keep pages current

Each page shows the date it was last updated under its title. Price tables are rebuilt from fresh downloads, and rule pages are re-read against the official text when we update them. If a source changes, we update the page and its date.

Corrections

Found a mistake? Email contact@billanswers.com with the page address. When we confirm an error, we fix it and change the page's updated date.

How we use AI tools

We use AI tools to help research and draft pages. Before a page is published, every fact, number and rule on it is checked against the official source linked on that page, and the source date is shown. AI tools never decide which provider to list or in what order.
